Model Citizen: Part Four: Agyness Deyn
One word: FIERCE.
Yes, this is the girl who was featured in W, and became somewhat of a sensation to bloggers everywhere. Agyness is the definition of "androgynous" chic. With her boyish good looks and that, dare I say, fierce haircut, she is, again, a refreshing change to the slew of Eastern European models. (Not that there is anything wrong with eastern European. Don't act 10 and get all "You're a racist!" on me.)
I wonder: What is it that makes adrogyny [spelled that wrong, not on purpose] so much hotter than draping oneself in lace and eyelet? I wonder......
In a world [or alternate universe] of long, silky-wavy haired models, Agyness sticks out, with her platinum, short cut. It takes a hell of a lot of confidence to pull off that haircut, and she does it perfectly.
In a way, she reminds me a bit of Edie Sedgwick:
Yes?
She brings an edge to even the girliest clothes, something many models models cannot claim.
Look how she turns all white Chanel into something much cooler, chicer:
Pretty Alberta Ferretti into something cool and hip:
Tones down the funky coolers of Versace a bit:
And, of course, she brings that rocker edge necessary to Luella:
Get a good look at her face. She's going places.

Agyness..stunning in her own sharp, fierce, daring way. She pulls off that haircut like no other. There are a bunch of shorter-haired models (ie Cecilia Mendez, Alison Nix...), but they don't come close.
Gorgeous.
I'm not crazy about her, I don't like her haircut. But I do love bette Franke :)
