My future's so bright, I need shades
Recently, I have noticed a growing trend: the revival of the classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers. Tom Cruise started their popularity in Risky Business:
And recently, Brandon Flowers (lead singer of the Killers, for those of you who live under a rock), has been seen wearing them, in photoshoots and just around town:
Now, Fred Flare is selling them for 9 dollars, but there's a chance you may be able to find them at a thrift shop or Salvation Army for less:
They're perfect on boys AND girls. I mean, look how cool that girl looks.
Also, I think they kind of resemble these glasses, which I have always lusted after:
Slighty different, but similar.
These glasses can be easily pulled off if you wear them without any apologies, like someone who wears old-school headphones rather than earphones. Wear them with a bit of irony, don't be embarressed to wear them, and you will be cooler than.... well..... anyone. (Like you weren't already!)
Three cheers for sweet revenge,
Moi
