Celluloid fashion

What I love about fashion in movies is that it's forever. It's permanently imprinted onto that celluloid.

My picks for most fashionable movies. (In no particular order)

1) Breakfast at Tiffany's

The perfect LBD, classic, chic.

2) The Devil Wears Prada
I loved this movie, mostly because of it's fashion. It was very high-fashion, but I believe you can take bits and pieces of it, and make it work in real life.

3) Factory Girl
I am soooo excited for this movie. It's going to be amazing, with Sienna Miller as the iconic Edie Sedgwick.

4) Funny Face

I love this look:

5) Grease
How cute was '50s fashion? (I'm talking about before the part where Sandy donned leather and teased her hair) Big skirts, pastel colors. It's like a big pastry. Yum.

Look at everyone beside Sandy and Danny. Isn't Rizzo's outfit quite cute?

6) Marie Antoinette
This is going to be wonderful. Very decadent and over the top. I can already see this movie fusing its way into fashion.

But then you strip it all away, and you get this:

How clean, beautiful, and simple.

7) Memoirs of a Geisha
I hated the story line of this movie, but it was visually stunning. I loved the sets and costumes. That's it. Do you remember the whole Asian trend last Christmas?

8) Roman Holiday
While Audrey Hepburn wears only one main outfit throughout the whole film, look how beautiful it is. She says that a simple white shirt, skirt, and sandals can be something quite marvelous.
